          Lehmann Brothers develops leading technology for Namibian Radio Station.

    For Immediate Release

    Windhoek, Namibia.

    Kosmos 94.1, Namibia's leading radio station launched the first stage of their new interactive presence in conjunction with Lehmann Brothers SA.

    Members of the press, distinguished members of the Namibian government, Industry we treated to a spectacular launch of the first stage of Kosmos Interactive, at the Multichoice Auditorium in Windhoek today.

    The first stage involves a SMS messaging platform that gives ANYONE, ANYWHERE the ability to send Free SMS messages, to over 800 Networks world wide. The messages are paid for by advertisers, also called the "Sponsor"

    Because the messages are person to person, (only appended with the sponsor's message) it does not fall under the traditional Commercial messaging category. The Technology has been under Development and testing since February 2004, but only from April 2006 has hit been tested commercially under Lehmann Brothers' SimpleSMS brand.

    The Integration of the technology with a commercial radio station is a world first, in terms of radio advertisers now also getting the capability of per country / per network targeting of their messages. This makes other complimentary technologies, like SMS competitions, product launches etc ever more appealing to Business. The system is currently available in 4 languages, English, Afrikaans, German and Oshivambo.

    Namibia was chosen as the test bed for this particular application due to it's relative small population, and easy geographical and logistical reach within the business communities.

    The next stages of Kosmos 94.1 Interactive, are currently being developed by the Lehmann Brothers Research and Development Centre, and the ultimate goal for Kosmos 94.1 is "Any Media, Any Device, Anywhere, Anytime"
